The course's features are:-
*You will gain a certificate to practice as a Holistic Integrated Creative Practitioner.
* It is Industry Training approved internationally.
*The course is delivered completely online through your own individual platform, which you can access at anytime, and therefore study around your other commitments.
*There is ongoing individual support provided, through messenger and telephone calls, and e-mails.

*The duration of the course is 200 hours over 12 months, with 12 weeks of holiday breaks included.
*Graduates will be certified Creative Arts Therapists, and can use letters Cert.HICAT(MBEd) after their title.
*A free membership for the Holistic Creative Arts Therapists Association, and the International Meditation Teachers and Therapists Association will be provided for one year. You can become a member of numerous industry led organisations on graduation. You will also require insurance to practice once qualified.

The Holistic Integrated Creative Therapy Course is based on evidenced based practice. The course structure is 20 modules, with both theoretical and practical components.
The theoretical subjects covered are:-
* The physiological and anatomical components of the brain. The many functions and impact of of the brain in relation to emotions, stress, mind/body connection are investigated in great depth. *The history and therapeutic benefits of creative arts therapy are included.
* How to support people with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief & loss,
*How to transfer skills to medical settings, setting up community art projects.
*How to set up your own business.
Practical subjects covered are:-
*Art therapy (using paint, watercolours, pens and pencils).
*Tactile therapy (sculture, clay, construction).
*Sandplay & environmental making.
*Music (sound therapy, rhythm making, playing musical instruments).
*Role playing, dance movement, story telling, creative writing, and drama.

Do not worry about not having experience of any of the above. You are provided with guidance throughout. Each module has an assessment at the end, which you can work on at your own pace over the two weeks.
Assessment is in the from of completing art projects, reading, watching videos, writing answers to questions, and writing short essays.
This course is open to any person over the age of 18. You should have a willingness and commitment to learn. You do not need to have any qualifications, or any creative abilities. The aim of this course is to enhance your own style of creativeness, which is true to you and no-one else!

The Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy course enables Graduates to be multidimensional in its use. Essentially, the outcome leads to a mental health profession that uses the creative process of art-making to improve, and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages.

You do not need to go out and purchase expensive art supplies. Please just use what you have or whatever is you preferred medium:- paints, watercolour paints, colouring pencils and pens. You will need an A4 sketchbook. You will need a small bag of sand for module 3, and access to some musical instruments in module 4. You can even make some out of household items.
